Paper Hanging & Paint Techniques

Mancart can assist you with all your wallpaper hanging needs; from expert advice, to our exceptional hanging service. Experienced in hanging many different types of wall coverings, including delicate hand printed papers, paper backed fabrics, designer papers, digital wallpapers and super wide wallpapers our meticulous preparation and time served skills ensure an superior finish. Painted to exceptional standards our paint effects provide incredible scope for design creativity with effects like distressing, antiquing, colour washing and dragging. We can help give rooms complete makeovers with our furniture hand painting services, applying any types of paints or paint effects to create feature pieces or a complete room facelift.

Greensheen™

Greensheen™ a water based coating for interior walls and woodwork.

Many people are unaware when decorating just how toxic some of the products commonly used actually are. Our aim is to reduce the use of toxins used and limit the amount of VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) in to the environment. The use of solvent-based paints is a major cause of Sick Building Syndrome, Danish Painter's Syndrome, Asthma, Allergies, Chemical Sensitivities and the general Flu-like symptoms reported by many people using conventional paints INCLUDING Matt and Silk wall paints. We can advise on a range of low VOC and VOC free products and suitability for your needs.

 

The products used to create a Greensheen™ finish use water as their solvent and carrier, allowing both easier clean up and lower toxicity than oil-based paints. Today, water based paints are equal or better in quality and durability than conventional oil-based formulas. As low or negligible VOC paints have less odour and less impact on air quality than higher VOC content products, they are excellent for use in buildings where it is desirable to maintain good indoor air quality, such as schools, homes with young children, those suffering from respiratory problems and the workplaces of those who are chemically sensitive. Durable, wipe clean finish with 8 years of thorough tests completed.

 

The Ecos Organic Paint Range is the only range of totally solvent-free paints available anywhere in the world today and has been independently tested to reveal 0.0% VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).
